| Beschreibung | The minimap faction renderer doesn't forget factions, ever. I noticed this when tons of factions that my previous faction met showed up on the list there. I guess it's because I'm still using the old .ini... they're never deleted from that file, apparently. I'd like to only see the factions that are also listed in the faction statistics, so that the player can delete factions at will there. | ||||

*laugh* hey, I didn't make this thing up, it's been in there! Apparently all minimap renderers have been disabled in the newest builds, though. It was working in build 91, not sure when it was disabled. Extras->Options->Map->Minimap->Region Renderer (shapes/politics), render mode By faction. (or All factions) Extras->Optionen->Karte->Minimap->Regionenrenderer (geometrisch/politisch), darstellungsmodus Polititsch (or Alle Parteien). |

not disabled, i changed the numbering in the Mapper, but only changed some things in the Minimapper, not enough as it seems ;-) This new issue should be fixed now. However the old reported problem is open. |

No, it isn't. The minimap faction renderer takes the faction info from one of the ini files (magellan.ini?) instead of from the currently loaded cr. This not only clogs the ini file, but makes no sense as factions not listed in the cr will not be on the map and the minimap renderer won't show them to begin with. I think this function should use the factions from the cr (same as the faction statistics) and not store this info in an ini file. |

The set of factions in the cr varies from round to round, but you may want to keep the same color for a faction that shows up again later. It therefore makes sense to save them in the ini file. I added an option to delete colors to the dialog. |
